Social Issues

Hey my name is Derrick, I am a 7th grader.   I go to school at C.I.S 339 in the Bronx. My school is a technology school, which means that all of the students in my school have their own lap tops that we carry from class to class!  Right now we are working on a project called dot to dot.  This project was created to help us connect to issues outside of school and people outside of school.  In my class we chose to focus on  social issues in the World that we really care about. My job as a blogger will be to share with others  my feeling and thoughts about these issues and hopefully I will have the power in my words to change the thoughts and actions of the people in my society.  I am blogging to talk to the world about the social issues that bother me the most!  The posts that will follow my introduction will talk about  many different social issues!  Through this Blog I hope to bring about change!
